It comes in a compact QFN-24 package with a thermal pad, requiring minimal external components and offering a small overall solution size. The fixed-frequency PWM control topology and power-save mode with pulse-skipping at light load currents ensure efficient operation with a typical overall device quiescent current of only 500 µA
