With its efficient Class-D architecture, the TPA3112D1-Q1 is designed to efficiently drive bridge tied speakers, offering exceptional performance and reliability. Advanced EMI Suppression Technology enables the usage of affordable ferrite bead filters at the outputs while ensuring EMC compliance. The SpeakerGuard™ protection circuitry system is a key highlight, featuring an adjustable power limiter and a DC detection circuit. The adjustable power limiter empowers users to set a virtual voltage rail lower than the chip supply, effectively limiting the current through the speaker. Meanwhile, the DC detection circuit is equipped to measure the frequency and amplitude of the PWM signal, taking necessary action such as shutting off the output stage if input capacitors are damaged or shorts are detected on the inputs. Capable of driving a mono speaker with an impedance as low as 4 Ω, the TPA3112D1-Q1 boasts high efficiency (exceeding 90%), eliminating the need for an external heat sink during music playback. Furthermore, the outputs are comprehensively protected against shorts to GND, VCC, and output-to-output, with a built-in auto-recovery feature for short-circuit and thermal protection
