Its high switching frequency of 1.5 MHz enables the use of small surface-mount components, such as an inductor, a Schottky diode, and two capacitors, along with a simple resistor divider for setting the output voltage. Using a current mode PWM topology and low ESR SMD ceramic capacitors, this converter ensures minimal output ripple for enhanced performance. Equipped with thermal protection and current limitation features, the ST1S03PUR offers reliable safeguards against short-circuit events.
