When it comes to high-performance SCR technology, the S4008LS3 product stands out for its versatility and efficiency. Designed for uni-directional switch applications, this SCR series is well-suited for a variety of uses including phase control, heating systems, motor speed controls, converters/rectifiers, and capacitive discharge ignitions. With a low gate current trigger level of 0.2 to 15 mA at approximately 1.5V, these SCRs offer reliable performance and precise control. Moreover, the sensitive gate SCR version has a gate trigger current of less than 500µA, allowing for easy triggering by sense coils, proximity switches, and microprocessors
