The PCA9600D is a cutting-edge hot-swappable I2C-bus buffer designed to facilitate the seamless connection and disconnection of I2C-bus devices while the bus remains active. Its innovative bidirectional voltage-level translation and automatic direction sensing capabilities enable effortless integration of master and slave devices on an I2C-bus. With two pairs of I2C-bus buffers, it offers bidirectional voltage-level translation between devices operating at different voltage levels, supporting a wide voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V on the H-side and 1.65V to 5.5V on the L-side. This extensive voltage compatibility makes it well-suited for diverse applications with varying voltage requirements. To ensure data integrity during hot-swapping, the PCA9600D features a hot-insertion detection mechanism and overvoltage tolerant inputs that shield sensitive components from potential damage caused by voltage spikes
