The LNK564PN is a highly integrated off-line switcher IC that combines a power MOSFET, a primary-side controller, and a secondary-side regulated constant-voltage/constant-current control. It is designed for applications such as USB PD chargers, quick chargers, and adapters. The IC can provide output power up to 65W with multi-mode operation for improved efficiency at light load conditions. It features an internal high-voltage current source that eliminates the need for an optocoupler and provides precise output voltage and current regulation.The LNK564PN also includes a suite of protection features to ensure reliable operation, such as overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, and thermal shutdown. Its compact package size and low component count make it ideal for small form factor and cost-sensitive designs.
