The LM5575MHX/NOPB is a versatile and efficient buck regulator that simplifies the design process for power supply engineers. With an input voltage range of 6 - 75V, this regulator can deliver a continuous output current of 1.5A, thanks to its integrated 330mΩ N-Channel MOSFET. The Emulated Current Mode architecture offers excellent line regulation, tight load transient response, and easy loop compensation without the low-duty cycle limitations typically associated with current mode regulators. Engineers can adjust the operating frequency from 50kHz to 500kHz to optimize size and efficiency based on their specific requirements. Additionally, the regulator features a frequency synchronization pin that allows for self-synchronization of multiple LM(2)557x devices or synchronization to an external clock, reducing EMI. To ensure robustness, the LM5575 includes cycle-by-cycle current limit, short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, and remote shutdown capabilities. Packaged in an HTSSOP-16 package with an exposed die attach pad for enhanced thermal dissipation, the LM5575 is a reliable choice for power supply designs and is fully supported by the WEBENCH On-Line design tools
