The LM5025MTC/NOPB is a cutting-edge PWM controller designed for power converters utilizing the active clamp and reset technique. This versatile device offers the flexibility to control either a P-channel clamp switch or an N-channel clamp switch, catering to various design requirements. The active clamp feature enables users to achieve higher efficiencies and greater power densities compared to conventional methods, making it a valuable asset in power conversion applications. With two control outputs for the main power switch and the active clamp switch, users can easily manage power conversion processes. The internal compound gate drivers ensure superior gate drive characteristics, enhancing the controller's performance. Operating at high speeds with an oscillator frequency range of up to 1 MHz, the LM5025 delivers fast and efficient operation. Additional features such as line undervoltage lockout, soft-start, oscillator synchronization, precision reference, and thermal shutdown further enhance the controller's reliability and convenience in power conversion applications
