L9409F Descrizione generale

The L9409F product is an IC regulator specifically designed for 12V type alternators. It comes equipped with a fixed frequency regulation loop and a high side field driver with a 130 mΩ resistance. The fail-safe device of this regulator includes double sensing of battery voltage (VB and VS), and it also features a load response control (LRC) function that activates after an initial time delay. Notably, it has a self-start function from phase frequency and complies with VW specification with its "Z" shaped regulation curve. Additionally, it offers key recognition from L input, short protection for field driver, lamp driver, and relay driver, complex diagnostics, and thermal shutdown at 175°C
