FAN6224M, a synchronous step-down DC-DC converter, is designed for a wide range of applications, from LCD monitors to set-top boxes, requiring low standby power consumption. With a wide input voltage range from 4.5V to 60V and an adjustable output voltage as low as 0.8V, it offers flexibility to designers. The integration of high-side and low-side power MOSFETs minimizes external components, reducing the overall PCB footprint and simplifying the design process. Operating at a fixed 350kHz switching frequency, the FAN6224M provides high efficiency and stable performance under various load conditions. Key features include a built-in soft-start function, thermal shutdown protection, adjustable current limit, and a power-good indicator for monitoring the output voltage status.
