This chipset effectively converts a parallel RGB video interface into a single-pair high-speed serialized interface utilizing the FPD-Link III serial bus scheme. By incorporating full-duplex data transmission and low-speed backchannel communication over a single link, this solution streamlines the system design, reduces interconnect size and weight, and eliminates skew issues
