The CD4093BCM is a quad 2-input NAND Schmitt trigger IC that is designed for performing logic functions. It is a member of the 4000 series of CMOS logic ICs, which are widely used in various digital applications due to their low power consumption, high noise immunity, and wide operating voltage range. This IC consists of 14-pin DIP (Dual Inline Package) and SOIC (Small Outline Integrated Circuit) packages that can operate with a supply voltage of 3V to 18VDC. The CD4093BCM includes four independent Schmitt trigger circuits that can be used to achieve hysteresis operation. Each Schmitt trigger has two inputs (A and B), an output (Y), and power supply pins (+VDD and GND). It also features a wide range of input voltage tolerance (up to 15V), low quiescent current (≤0.1 μA), and a wide temperature range (-55°C to 125°C).
