Atmel's AT90S8515-8AI is an 8-bit microcontroller featuring a high-performance RISC architecture, 8K bytes of in-system programmable flash memory, 544 bytes of EEPROM, and 512 bytes of SRAM. With a maximum operating frequency of 8 MHz, it provides 32 general-purpose I/O lines, an 8-channel 10-bit ADC, and multiple communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, and I2C. Tailored for embedded applications requiring a high level of integration and versatility, this microcontroller is well-suited for a wide range of industrial, automotive, and consumer electronics applications. Housed in a 40-pin PDIP package, the AT90S8515-8AI can operate within a wide voltage range of 4.0V to 6.0V
Caratteristiche principali
- 8K bytes of In-System Programmable Flash, 512 bytes EEPROM, 512 bytes SRAM, 32 general-purpose I/O lines, 32 general purpose working registers, flexible timer/counters with compare modes, internal and external interrupts, a programmable serial UART, programmable Watchdog Timer with internal oscillator, an SPI serial port and two software-selectable power-saving modes. The Idle Mode stops the CPU while allowing the SRAM, timer/counters, SPI port and interrupt system to continue functioning. The Power-down mode saves the register contents but freezes the oscillator, disabling all other chip functions until the next external interrupt or hardware reset.
