the current transformer works great. I tested it with an AC current of 11.6 A, which resulted in an AC output voltage of 0.39 V, which matches the advertised 30A/1V conversion ratio perfectly. Inside the transformer there is a little PCB with the burden resistor (which can easily be changed or removed to get another conversion ratio) and back to back zener diodes.

Everything works fine. Packed perfectly. Don't forget to tear off the paper protective film, or many people think that it should be.
