The ADM1270ARQZ is the perfect solution for current-limiting and overcurrent protection in modular or battery-powered systems. When new circuit boards are inserted into a live backplane, the discharged supply bypass capacitors draw large transient currents from the power bus. These sudden spikes in current can cause significant harm to connector pins and lead to power dips that might affect other boards in the system.
